[MOD] Immortality (Updated and Revised) (2024)

Immortality (Updated and Revised) mod for Crusader Kings 3 (CK3).

The original, very popular mod was abandoned (no more updates) and explicitly stated as such. I brought it up to date with new game version and extended features.

Just updated to make it fully compatible with Daddy Pika's cheat menu, Princes of Darkness, Vampirism and Lycanthropy, and Pantheons of the Gods and interoperate with the immortality granting traits of these mods for restore body & mind and set-immortality-age.

Mod Description:

Adds the ability to become immortal, as well as grant that same gift to others, or take it away. And decide what age such immortals shall be frozen at - full spectrum -- infants, children, pre-teens, teens, young adults, adults, mature adults, elder, venerable.

And works with other mods' immortality granting traits so you can say... have a child vampire, or change your elderly vampire into a young adult vampire, or god, or elder thing, or wizard, or robot, or just a plain no-shenanigans immortal elf, nekojin, or human being.

Features list:

• Decisions to grant and take away your immortality.
• (Improved) Decision to set your permanent, frozen physical / visual age while immortal, letting you pick from a list of 16 ages (16, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 70, 90 | 35, 60, 80, 110, 12, 8, 4, 1)
• (Improved) Decision restoring your characters mind and body, removing all negative health related traits such as diseases or wounds, as well as health-penalizing modifiers.
• Decision to let you mount another Kingdom level invasion or another subjugation war.
• (New v2.2) Decisions for restore body & mind and set age now work with the immortal traits present in Princes of Darkness, Vampirism and Lycanthropy, and Pantheons of the Gods (vampire, god, lycan, etc..), and a number of other mods
• Interactions to grant and take away immortality from/to other characters.
• (New) Interactions to set another character's permanent, frozen physical / visual age while immortal, from the list of the 16 ages from the above decision, or from five quick-choices (16, 20, 30, 50, 90)
• (New) Interaction to restore another character's mind and body, removing all negative health related traits such as diseases or wounds, as well as health-penalizing modifiers.
• (New v2.2) Interactions for restore body & mind and set age now work with the immortal traits present in Princes of Darkness, Vampirism and Lycanthropy, and Pantheons of the Gods (vampire, god, lycan, etc..), and a number of other mods

Immortality now includes no prowess decline with age as well as a character tag that will make your ruler and any other character you bless with the gift of immortality not contract most diseases.

Restore mind and body (both via decision and interaction) also now removes negative health character modifiers including stress level related modifiers, as well as obesity and malnourishment.

While you are now more or less fully biologically immortal, you are not total-immortal or nigh-invulnerable. You and your fellow immortals can still die in battle, get assassinated, get depressed + commit suicide, and die from stress overload or a major stack of negative health modifiers (restore body & mind may help prevent).

Original mod by Slightly Productive ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2217002908 ). The original mod author stated in the description he was no longer maintaining or updating it. Taken over and enhanced by YeshuaAgapao. The 'Improved' and 'New' tags in the bullet items in the feature list are the enhancements this mod adds to the original mod.

This mod (Immortality updated and revised) will not remove and does not alter the above mods' immortality-granting traits

List of mods where its immortality treat is treated as core / general purpose immortality, and activate all actions including trait removal and new kingdom wars:

• Immortality (obsolete, derivative base for this mod)
• Become Immortal (obsolete, different trait name)
• Pavlik Cheat Mode
• Extended Immortality (different trait name)
• Immortality Improved
If the above mod says 'different trait name', removing that mod's immortality trait and then re-adding will replace it with the 'immortality' trait of this mod, thus updating your save game to this mod.
